I have recently restarted my art career thanks to my friend. She is an amazing artist, and I was re-inspired to start sketching. I hope you like my pieces and please tell me what I should draw next!
I got a nice black outlining pen that I tried to use on my sketchbook, but that didn't turn out too well. The first sketchbook I ever had was thick paper that the pen would not bleed through, but when I got my new sketchbook, the pen bled through the page and onto the next one! I was drawing a meme collage for my friend, and the marker and pen bled through the paper. I was just in time to lift the page up so it didn't get onto the next page, only barely.
Most of the time, I get in a zone that you can't get me out of by calling my name or speaking in a regular voice. You need to yell my name a few times before I get out of my zone and into the real world. I usually sketch in my room and sometimes at my desk, wherever it is convenient. The most annoying part of this is that when I need an eraser or pen or something, I get out of the zone and get very annoyed with myself for not remembering to put the supply in arm reaching distance.
Then I need to get back in the zone! This is the tricky part. Most times it takes about 5 minutes, but sometimes it can take 15 minutes because I lost my train of thought. This process is very frustrating, but sucessful. I get a lot of work done when I am in the zone.
